Terms of Service

Welcome to Turnote. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Turnote application and services ("Service") operated by SaasRocket ("we", "us", "our").

1. Service Description

Turnote is a voice recording and AI-powered transcription application that allows you to:

• Record voice notes using your device's microphone
• Automatically transcribe recordings to text using AI (OpenAI Whisper)
• Generate titles for your notes using AI (Google Gemini)
• Rewrite and transform text using AI prompts
• Organize notes with tags and favorites
• Sync notes across devices
• Export your notes (Premium feature)

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Turnote. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2.2 Google Account

Turnote requires authentication via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

2.3 One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one Turnote account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or bans is prohibited.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

3.1 Available Plans

3.2 Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat
• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.

3.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies:

• Apple: Request a refund from Apple
• Google Play: Request a refund from Google

3.5 Restore Purchases

If you reinstall Turnote or switch devices, you can restore your existing subscription by signing in with the same Google account and tapping "Restore Purchases" in Settings.

3.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You Agree NOT To:

• Upload, record, or transcribe content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Record conversations without consent where required by law
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or distributing malware
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or bans
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use automated tools or bots to access the Service

4.2 Recording Consent

5. Your Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create, including voice recordings, transcriptions, and notes. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5.2 License Grant

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Process your voice recordings for transcription
• Send your content to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google) for processing
• Store and sync your content across your devices
• Display your content back to you within the app

This license exists solely to provide the Service and terminates when you delete your content or account.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content. We do not monitor or review content but may remove content that violates these Terms if reported or discovered.

6. AI-Generated Content

6.1 Accuracy

Transcriptions, titles, and rewritten text are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it.

6.2 Third-Party AI Processing

Your content is processed by third-party AI services:

• OpenAI Whisper: Processes audio for transcription
• Google Gemini: Processes text for title generation and rewriting

These services have their own terms and privacy policies that apply to the data they process.

6.3 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, appropriate, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

Turnote, including its logo, design, code, features, and underlying technology, is owned by SaasRocket and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our written consent.

7.2 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about Turnote, you grant us the right to use this feedback without compensation or attribution.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Turnote, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

9.1 "As Is" Basis

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9.2 No Uptime Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

9.3 Third-Party Dependencies

The Service depends on third-party providers (OpenAI, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat). We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by these providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Specific Exclusions

We are not liable for loss or corruption of data, inaccuracies in AI content, unauthorized access due to your negligence, service interruptions, third-party provider actions, or your violation of recording consent laws.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SaasRocket from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account via Settings.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Your access ends immediately, we may delete your data, and certain sections (Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France.

15. App Store Terms

15.1 Apple App Store

• These Terms are between you and SaasRocket, not Apple
• Apple has no maintenance/support obligation
• You must comply with Apple's App Store Terms

15.2 Google Play Store

You must comply with Google's Play Store Terms.

16. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement — These Terms + Privacy Policy constitute the full agreement
• Severability — Invalid provisions do not affect the rest
• No Waiver — Failure to enforce does not waive rights
• Assignment — We may assign; you may not
• No Third-Party Beneficiaries
